This sink has a top-mounted, drop-in design. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.
This sink replaces or upgrades your existing bathroom sink. If not replacing an existing sink, a hole 14-1/4" x 11-1/2" must be cut in the counter top. Once the hole has been made, the sink just drops into place. Brackets and hardware are included to secure the sink to the counter. The use of silicone sealant (sold separately) is recommended.

This is going to replace one worn out or damaged lavatory sink. It is made of a lightweight plastic, like most of your lavatory sinks are, so it doesn't add any weight onto your RV and affect your gas mileages or anything like that.The most important thing for a sink is going to be the dimensions, so let me give those to you real fast. So overall width, the outside to the outside, we're going to be right about 14 and seven-eighths of an inch wide. Our depth or the amount that it's going to stick out into the room is going to be right about 12 and three-eighths of an inch.
And then our height, once we have it installed, you can see that there's a little bit of a lip there just to get it installed. We won't count that. So we're looking at right about six inches tall.The cutout that you're going to need to get this installed is going to be 14 and a quarter of an inch wide and 11 and a half inches deep. This kit does come with the six-inch long tail flange as well as the four-inch-long rubber sink stopper, the mounting clips and screws to get this installed, and keep in mind, this is the white option, so if white matches your color scheme in your RV, that might be a good option for you. They also make another one that is parchment colored.
It's the exact same dimensions, same everything. Essentially, just the parchment color rather than the white. You can see parchment. It's kind of a light tan color.So if that works better for your setup, your color scheme, they're basically the exact same sink, just pick the one that works best for you. That's going to complete our look at the molded lavatory sink.
